Another great year taking images for the Amvets Riders Armada 93. To all who have served we thank you! It was a great day for riding and taking pictures for them. 5 total stops and dinner at the end. It was an honor again to do it. Their 4th year for the Run and our 2nd year photographing it. Definitely continuing this every year. Glad we could come and capture the day for everyone.

Sue and Curt Land (Grandparents) small backyard photo shoot
While my grandparents were in town for a family wedding, we had some time to do a little photo shoot for them. In between some sprinkle rain drops we took about 30mins or so and got some great shots for them. I don’t know when the last time they had some nice images so it was nice to be able to do that for them. Right in the backyard made a perfect little spot and was nice and easy. Just walk out the door wall off the deck and there we were. They had a blast and we did as well. It’s nice to be able to get some shots for the family when they are really in need of some new ones.
Maya's National Elementary Honor Society Induction-5/14/2019
Hard work and keeping at it all year, Maya was rewarded with making the cut for the NEHS at her school. They had a full house of deserving kids who made it this year. She was so happy of her accomplishment and of course so were we! A well deserved night for all the long days of homework and struggles throughout the year. Now the harder part comes ahead of keeping that status and staying at the top of her game. Keep up the good work Maya! We all love you!
Avas 1st Communion-5/11/2019
Got to do a few images for our niece as she made her first Communion. A beautiful young lady had all smiles throughout the day. She looked stunning in her white dress. Joined by her family and other 1st communion boys and girls. They did very well and looked great.
Maya's Dance Recital-May 6th, 7th & 8th
As always, it’s a joy to be able to photograph your own kids for something they love to do. Our daughter had her yearly recital for the Sterling Stars at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts. She is in the Musical Theater class and had a blast doing this dance for the 3rd year. 1 day of practice and 2 nights of actual recital is long and tiring but well worth it to watch. All the kids had a great time and did very well all night.
Don and Sandy 50th anniversary-5/4/2019
We were thrilled to be asked to shoot a 50th anniversary re-wedding for a couple. We had a beautiful venue for the gathering at MacRay Harbor. They are a couple of great people that after 50 years can still joke around and yet that love is still as strong so many years later. The fun energetic nature of these two people was a joy to be around. They have a wonderful family and friends that all joined in for a great day/night of fun and celebration. To many more years of love and happiness to Don and Sandy!!
Dan & Candace Engagement
We had a blast doing images for Dan and Candace at Dodge Park for their engagement. We had a nice overcast day to work with and 50 degrees. A nice walk around the park to hit a few locations and we got some great shots. Most of all, we had tons of fun. Some natural light photos because it was so good and a few photos with some flash. We will be printing one of their choice for a signing board at the wedding in June. Best of luck to the couple and see you at the wedding……as a guest and not shooting. See, Candace is my cousin and I was thrilled they let me do these shots for them. Thank you for allowing me to do so!
Skye & Craig Griffin Wedding 4/13/2019
What an awesome couple I had the pleasure of shooting for. They had a lovely Wedding Reception at Freedom Hill in Sterling Hts. MI. A beautiful purple color themed party made the entire venue glow just right. We had so much fun with these two running around, laughing and having a great time. To say they looked happy on the day was a gross understatement! Cool drinks, hot music and people with lots of energy made it a night to remember for sure. A great big CONGRATS to Mr. & Mrs. Griffin for a long life of happiness!!
Awesome Boudoir shoot
Had a fantastic time shooting with some new people. Made some great images along with some new friends. Did a little cosplay style shots and got a little out of my element and did some tight space portrait shots. All in all we had fun. A little boudoir for my first time was a challenge but very exciting and learned a few things. Looking forward to working with these ladies again very soon!
Shot the outdoor images with a brand new lens (200F2) and was blown away how great it was for the first shots with it. This will make it’s way into my normal rotation in outdoor shots in the future for sure!
